Arch Manning is already breaking records − monetary ones, that is.
The Texas freshman quarterback and nephew of NFL Hall of Famer Peyton Manning and former Giant Eli Manning had his first trading card auctioned for $102,500 through the Panini America website, which set a record for the most expensive trading card the company has ever sold.
The card was an autographed, one-of-a-kind one that features an image of him in his Longhorns practice jersey, preparing to pass the ball. The auction ended Saturday and according to ESPN surpassed the record previously set by Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Dončić, whose autographed, one-of-a-kind card sold for $100,000.
All proceeds from the auction are going to a support families in Central Texas, through the St. David’s HealthCare and St. David’s Foundation. The winning bidder, whose identity is unknown, will also get the chance to have a meet-and-greet with Manning, catch passes from him and be a part of the charity check presentation.
"Getting my first Panini trading card is something I couldn't have imagined growing up," Manning said in a statement, according to ESPN. "Working with Panini to have my first trading card benefit the larger community is special. Helping children live healthy and fulfilling lives is something that has always been important to my family."

Panini America is Manning's lone name, image and likeness (NIL) endorsement deal, which was announced July 25. As part of the deal, he will be a part of Panini's NIL trading card products and the company will also produce special edition Manning cards for each season that the deal is in place.
Manning, 18, enrolled early at Texas and participated in the program's annual Orange-White spring game in April, completing 5-of-13 passes for 30 yards.
