Beyoncé is rolling down the partition to her latest project.
The music superstar unveiled Cé Noir—her first fragrance since 2014—in an Instagram video addressing the Beyhive. As seen in black-and-white visuals released Oct. 25, Beyoncé was a total mood 4 eva in an all-black ensemble as she walked fans through the creation of her perfume.
"This is my Cé Noir unboxing and it's finally here after years of work," she said, before holding up a bottle decked out in silver chrome, similar to the reflective ensembles she wore on her Renaissance World Tour. "I wanted something to be monolithic and I wanted something to have a little bit of intimacy."
That's why the 42-year-old chose packaging worthy of the House of Chrome, complete with a stand that holds the spray bottle and a small window that peers into what she described as "the soul of the perfume."
After spritzing herself with the fragrance, Beyoncé shared that she used the perfume throughout her tour, which concluded earlier this month.
"I actually spray this during the show a few times," she remarked. "Gotta keep it fresh."
The singer added, "And that is Cé Noir. Say no more."
Needless to say, the rare video rang the alarm amongst the Beyhive, with one fan writing in the comments section, "SHES TALKING TO US OMG."
"Listening to her talk made my heart drop," another user wrote, while a third fan quipped, "The rarest SIGHT IN THE WORLD!"
Even Lindsay Lohan dropped a heart emoji in her response, proving that Beyoncé truly runs the world.
So, what does Cé Noir smell like? According to the Grammy winner's website, it has fragrance notes of clementine and golden honey, with a heart of rose absolute and jasmine sambac and a base of Namibian myrrh and golden amber.
Retailing for $160, the perfume was created in France and "encased in art," per the product description.
